    It’s an ironic place for something like that considering the prevalence of white supremacist militias out there.

    But Boise is also a somewhat recent hub for microchip production in the states. Not that the microchips have anything to do with the base, but the greater point that Idaho is changing to some degree.

    It could also be a nakedly corrupt quid pro quo related to that 747 he got.

    Mt. Home AFB is outside Boise. I'm assuming this is the US agreeing to allow the Qataris to base a training or exercise squadron there. This isn't without precedent, the Germans used to have a training squadron at Hollomon AFB in NM. Singapore and Tiawan have training squadrons at Luke AFB and at a NG facility in Tucson.
