Just wait until they make it it a rule that you’re “out” if you hit it over the fence of Old Man McGraw’s yard.

Well, Braves lost but Acuña is just on fire right now. He hit two bombs. It can't last (.450!), but it's fun to watch for now. Saw the whole game, no rain, it was nice being back at the Park. Very different, though. No vendors, no kiosk food / beer carts, half the concessions stands closed. The small crowd doesn't have the same background din of a fuller house. But, hey - baseball.

So, the Pioneer League is replacing extra innings with a home run derby. Would anyone care to take bets how long before the MLB adapts this? You know, to “shake things up”.

It's like a shootout in minor league hockey!

7-inning no-hitter for Bumgarner today! Would he get one if it were a nine inning game? We’ll never know! But it counts!

All nine get to hit every inning, even if there's three outs! Everyone gets a trophy! Just like tee ball!

It’ll only go in the record books as a complete game shutout. He won’t get credit (in the “record books”) for an actual no-hitter...but it’ll be brought up by color commentators for years to come.

which is stupid. Just play nine inning doubleheaders.

Anyhoo...the Red Sox are doing well, and I am happy about that.

The majority of Sox fans are still annoying, and I’m trolling them on Facebook. I’m happy about that, too.

Did anybody see how bad Angel Hernandez was, umpiring last night? Again? Jomboy did a good break down. He also include a snip from the judge's ruling against him from earlier this year. Hernandez sued MLB for discrimination, saying he'd been passed over for crew chief and playoff jobs, because of racism. MLB countered with their evidence, and the judge basically just flat out said, "no, you were passed over because it's clear that you suck. Go away."

I did not see Angel Hernandez last night, but every MLB fan knows he is a very shitty umpire.

Jomboy is THE best baseball channel on YouTube (albeit he covers sports in general, he’s obviously a baseball guy) . Hernandez is a disgrace. He admitted he guessed the call, how fucking hard is it to WATCH something? These lazy, overpaid crybaby egomaniacs need to be fired do they can stop changing the outcome of games. There are plenty of minor league umps who can do the job, look at the wonderful year of 1999.

Could somebody please remind the Astros that they don’t have the right to cry over fans treating them harshly?

You still play half your games at home. Lie in the fucking bed you make, you were never punished.

Cleveland is in a three way tie for first place in the Central division They just won three in a row with the Royals, and two out of three with the White Soxs. Honestly, I've been surprised by the offense so far this year. Who knows how the rest of the season pans out, but I'm more optimistic now than I was over the winter about the teams near future.

It’s been fun watching them suffer at Yankee stadium. I just regret I couldn’t be there. Given how loud and vicious it is at 20% capacity I can’t imagine how bad it would be at full capacity.

Until Altuve and Bregman leave the Astros, they will be mercilessly booed. I love it. Springer seems to get a pass, being on the Blue Jays.

I doubt you’ll see a lot of Jays shirts with his name on it this year. You certainly won’t from me.

It’s Alex Cora who deserves it the worst— he shouldn’t have a fucking job, period. Throw batteries at him, not insults.
