With the advent of the new league year starting, it's time to count the days until the NFL season is delayed due to coronavirus.

And like clockwork, the Texans have shot themselves in the dick by trading DeAndre Hopkins to the Cardinals for the corpse of David Johnson and a couple of draft picks.

That has to be one of the worst trades I've ever seen.

A top-3 WR who is still signed for 3 more years for a persistently-injured $11m running back and a 2nd round pick. They swapped 4ths, so they didn't even really get any value there.

Any team in the league would have handed over a 2nd round pick for Hopkins, and what value does David Johnson bring for that contract amount? Bill O'Brian is a grade-A moron.

Texans don't have a 1st rounder. Trade DeAndre. Still don't have a 1st rounder. This makes me so fucking happy I can't believe it.

The Raiders signed Mariota, who is an upgrade over Carr? I honestly don't know. Looks more like a side step to me.

Browns signed Keenum to 3yr/$18M with $10M guaranteed. Cowherd just got a raging boner outta nowhere.

    God I love this league.

BOB traded one of the best wr's in the game for peanuts. No way in hell I'd trade him for less than two 1st round picks. What an idiot.

We’re gonna find out who’s Team Brady and who’s Team Belichick this year.

Hes 43 years old and the offense at the end of the season was garbage in general. Even if hes to go whatever team (Buccs?), hes got one more season, maybe 2? Hopefully he doesnt push it too hard and end his career with a thud like Favre.

Im as big a Pats fan as they get, but I hope he enjoys the rest of whatever hes got left in him. He turned the Pats from a laughing stock into one of the greatest teams ever.

I am a fan of Tom Brady, and I don’t wish him ill. But I do want to see the Pats win without him, just to see if Belichick can do it with somebody new.

It would be awesome if he got a huge pay day to go play a season in the XFL.

Matt Cassell has generational wealth now, because of Belichick after Brady tore his ACL. I'm way more curious to see if Brady can succeed without Bill.

The rumor is Tampa Bay? Has he took to many hits to the head? BA doesn't protect his QB's and wants to throw deep shots. Yeah, that will work out.

Nick Foles going to the Bears. Does anyone think at this point that Foles is a starting QB?

low hanging fruit. My 5 year old son is a better starting qb than trubisky and he still wets his bed sometimes.

Out of desperation we have been watching the superbowl reruns on ESPN. We started watching early last week. At that point it was only one of their channels. As of last night football was on three.

Can you imagine being in the room when someone came up with the idea? Hey I've got it! How about we rerun old superbowls?!! Everyone else WTF? That's the stupidest thing we've heard yet. Two weeks in and there are actual ratings, we are watching.

    Fucking crazy times.

New England just trade Gronkowski and a 7th round pick to Tampa Bay for a 4th round pick. Whoa.

    I can't wait for Thursday night's draft.

Apparently one of the reasons he retired was because CBD was banned in the NFL. It's now legal under the newly approved CBA.
