Air fryer wings are amazing. I made a batch a while ago using a dry rub I keep for pork and the results were incredible. It's now my go-to wing approach. Below is my rub recipe--scaled down from the original. It still makes a decent amount, but not too much that you're storing a ton of it. (The below amounts are in Tbsp) 2.66 Paprika 1.75 Black pepper 1.3 kosher salt 1.3 brown sugar 1.3 cumin 1.3 chili powder 1 sugar Lay your wings out on a plate and cover them with the rub. Flip and repeat. Preheat the air fryer to 400F for about 5-7 min. Next, put a single layer of wings into the basket. A mix of a dozen drumsticks and wings typically fits well in my 3.5qt unit. Do not over crowd. Better to make two batches than screw up one. Keeping the fryer at 400F, let the wings go for 13 min, then flip them with tongs, and let them go for another 13 min. That's it. Pull 'em. Enjoy. You're welcome. As I said, this rub is awesome on pork, too, and I routinely use it for grilled chicken thighs, as well.
