Some we weren't sorry to see go, others are sorely missed, and for the most part, these members just vanished without a trace. Where are they now? FOCUS: Curious about where a particular missing TiB member is these days? Ask on here, and if someone on here knows them personally or online, they can tell you what's going on with them these days (without divulging any personal information about them). ALT. FOCUS: Randomly speculate about where missing TiB members are these days.

Ran into katokoch a while back on reddit on a gun building sub and got him to come back for a bit. He left because one of his friends was either banned or kind of pushed away, I forget the exact circumstances but iirc the friend wouldn't stop complaining about everything.
Nah, he wasn’t just complaining. I don’t ban people for shit like that. If I’m not mistaken it was something around flying in a hurricane or something, he was being stupid and pushing and calling people liars and stuff like that. I gave him a day off (after a few warnings) to rethink shit and he never came back.
there we go! He wouldn't leave that one alone. There was a hurricane coming and a picture went viral of a passenger flight (to evacuate people) going between bands of the hurricane and some of the outer stuff rather than going around. He was 100% convinced it was unsafe and unethical. Nett and some people who know more about aviation corrected him and he wouldn't let it go. Like being a dick about him being right and them being wrong. It was a great example of "it's okay to have an opinion, but defer to the experts when you meet them." He threw a fit over being called wrong, was put in timeout, and when he didn't come back neither did kato.

I would have added @pirateslut to that list, but she recently checked in to update the boobie thread. There are a few other folks that I know have made me laugh, but I can't think of member names at the moment.
I can tell you that iczorro is doing well, and travelling around the world. I'll ask him to come back, or at least say hello. On topic, I miss @whoreswithnonames. Anyone know what happened to him? Edit: How are you guys getting the user names highlighted? It's not working for me.
I probably miss Charles Johnson the most. That dude was the funniest guy on the board IMO. I also liked hearing about current events through the eyes of an African American, but one dude just became such a pompous ass, and I don't miss him. We've become a bit of a tight knit dysfunctional family, that it might be hard for a newbie to join. How are they going to know that 'Nerds is the most accident-prone person on the planet? Or know Dixie's distaste for thin, shaven women? Or Aetius's hatred of all thing's car based? Kinda funny, well not funny, but if I die this afternoon, I can't think how anyone on here would know.
I've thought about this before if it happened to me. I think Roxanne would eventually figure it out, but I don't know if she'd bother to tell you.
I've been thinking about that as well... and am working on some sort of succession plan. I mean, I'm assuming it would suck if I bought it, and then at some point the site just stopped working because the hosting or DNS didn't get paid for. It is a reason why I try and buy everything for this site in long term chunks.
