It's fucked up and wrong but has a certain logic to it, people are attracted to all sorts of fucked up shit. 13-18, depending on the person is basically a grown adult physically. If you want to fuck an adult bodied person, why go after the ones that will land you in jail? Is it just the thrill of getting caught and not a physical thing? It's an odd compulsion.
There's an interesting and somewhat plausible conspiracy theory floating around that makes me go, "Hmmmmm." The wild postulating has it that he threw parties for the rich and wealthy, and had young girls at said parties. Some attendees of those parties did some illegal things with those young girls, and said things were videotaped. Those rich attendees then invested in his hedge fund, helping to make him the billionaire that he is, while keeping the videos hidden away, and nobody ever told anyone anything more. Now he's got a long list of said kiddy diddlers that has got lots of people running scared.

Yeah... it's not like the EU owes them anything to make it easier or better for Britain... they're already on the verge of just saying "fuck off". It'll be interesting to see just how long it will take to get a vote of non-confidence through, because you have to think it's coming ASAP. Still, the dude is promising Brexit by Halloween... that'll be interesting.
Part of me wants Britain to run headfirst into Hard Brexit at full speed because maybe the impact will be jarring enough that they won't be able to avoid their own shortsightedness anymore. The other part of me thinks that it won't matter at all and they'll find a way to blame their troubles on the EU anyway.
To be fair, the EU has been saying “fuck off” for quite a while. It would be one thing If they were just sitting by, allowing the chips to fall. But they’re actively promising to make it as difficult as possible for the UK, primarily because it’s an immediate loss of the world’s second largest (and sometimes largest) economic center under the EU umbrella.
