The Braves have gone toe-to-toe with Cubs and Dodgers during this regular season. I'm starting to think they may have enough offense and pitching to be competitive in the playoffs this year. Cautiously optimistic. Watching Max Fried pitch Thursday and carve up the Nationals was fantastic. That curve ball is pure filth . . . hoping he keeps his blister problems under control. But, even with his 16 wins now, Fried would be behind Soroka in any Cy Young talk.
