    I liked it. It was hit and miss and some segments were so cringe-inducing I actually couldn’t watch it, but it was ok. I don’t see it taking off as a big hit though, it was a bit too mean-spirited in some parts.

    Have you seen Twitter / the media / this board, etc? There's a segment of the population that will eat up that mean-spirited. That won't keep it from taking off, just limit it's base, like CNN or Fox News.

    I've never been a big fan of cringe humor, so watching a polite South Carolina couple/obvious-beard-situation squirm while he talks about dolphin fucking is tough, but I think it'll be worth it for the spots where he gets politicians to do or say outrageous things like support child soldiers.

    I like watching soccer and pay attention the the EPL tangentially. Cincinnati's start up team has done well enough that theyll be joining the MLS next year and it's fun to go to cheap games and watch a decent winning team (unlike our other pro sports teams that disappoint perennially). I get the fandom but football is just much better structured than futball. The game is like edging during masturbation then most of the time misjudging it and blowing your load on an off beat and ultimately having an unsatisfactory time.

    Popularity does not equate to quality. Just because a vast majority of people seem to like watching it doesn't mean it's good, just that it's popular.

    I think it's popular because everyone gets together and drinks when it's watched, and because nothing happens ever in the game, when it DOES happen, it's a huge fucking dopamine hit due to the scarcity of the event.

    It's like a guy who gets laid once every 10 years... when he finally gets some, it could be the worst lay ever, but to him it's REALLY FUCKING GOOD.

    So yeah... by that math, I think soccer fans are incels.
