    Jesus christ nature get your shit together! Texas is already basically floating and now we're looking at another week of storms to further inndundate what can now only be loosely-described as "flood plains." My son turns 1 this weekend. At least we live on a hill.

    The only redeeming part of this all is seeing all these idiots living in trailer parks right on the river a river saying "well geeze I didn't know it could get this high!" Uhm, yeah, see that little cliff behind you? That's the river bank. It was made from irrosion, when water got that high.

    It still very sad that people, especially children and dogs, died in all this. I go through blanco a few times a month and recognize many of the places you now see on CNN.

    The A/C in my office hasn't worked in 3 weeks (except for the standalone unit in the server room). It's now 90 degrees F in here, with no air movement and it's humid as hell.

    What is it with guys that hoard shitty cars? What exactly is it that your 4th piece of shit can do that your 3rd piece of shit couldn't do that your 2nd piece of shit couldn't do? Why not just get one decent one instead?

    On this day in 1998, Phil Hartman's psycho wife killed him. That's what it says on my "today in history" calendar. What it also says, that I didn't know, is that when he worked as a graphic designer, before comedy / acting, he designed the Crosby, Stills & Nash logo. Cool. I miss "Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer" and "Troy McClure." Probably my favorite scene of his from SNL:
