That verse is sick! The way Eminem describes how he probably wouldn't be anything if he didn't go through all the hardships he had to deal with is pretty awesome

Have you guys heard this Eminem silly yet? Sorry if I'm late to the game.

Speaking of Eminem, his new single was premiered this morning on Angela Yee's Radio show.

Eminem - Not Afraid (prod. Boi-1da)

A more serious side of him, very different from his lead singles from his other albums.

Really liking Em's new single. Some crazy wordplay and metaphors, no Sarah Palin/Kim Kardashian bs. I wasn't sure how I felt after the first listen but it is growing on me. Can't wait for Recovery.

"You said you was King, you lying through your teeth
For that, fuck your feelings/fillings, instead getting crowned you getting capped."

"So I solemnly swear to always treat this roof like my daughter and RAISE IT."

Em has an immediate hit here. The hook will catch the masses, the message is positive, and the beat is sophisticated enough for the die-hards.

Between this and the Recovery Freestyle I think there's enough to be excited about here.

Sample of "Plan B", UK rapper who dropped his second album recently, "The Defamation of Strickland Banks". This song is an older one, but I consider it one of his best.

One of the sickest beats ever...any collaborations done with DJ Premier usually end up good.

I saw this guy live recently as an opening act for the Clipse. He fucking killed his set. As soon as I got home, I downloaded both his mixtapes and am loving them both. Check out this song too:

When I'm bored in my hotel room slugging beer, I like to listen to rap battles and get angry at nothing. This dude, A Class, is from Baltimore and he's pretty legit. He's go plenty of stuff on youtube, but this one is pretty funny.

Bought Distant Relatives by Damien Marley and Nas a month ago and no luster has been lost yet
Damien really put some work into the production and Nas got some lyrics that reminded me of old Stillmatic days.

I think it is absolutely amazing... I was NOT expecting it to be this good. I think there is only one mediocre song on the entire CD and that's just because they needed at least one less than serious/deep song. (I'm talking about W.T.P)

There are 17 tracks and I'd say at least 13 of them are classics, the features are all awesome and Lil Wayne has one of the best verses he's ever done on the album, but only to be outshown by one of the best Eminem verses I've ever heard.

I don't think I could be any happier with it.

2nd this. The album is phenomenal. Eminem is in top form. Eminem's flow is just out of this world. In related news, he recently did a freestyle session with Tim Westwood that included....Royce Da 5'9". I can't be the only one who was so dissapointed when their friendship blew up. They were even going to do an album together before the shit with D12 went down. Here's to hoping there is more collaboration to come with those two. A joint album by them would be absolute chaos.
