Early morning panic hit me when I realized our DirecTV went out last Sunday, and I couldn't watch the football games for who knew how long...

Until I found this gem: http://atdhe.net/

Watch LIVE sports for free. Legit. Love it. Thought id share.

I don't know how good the quality of the streams is on that site, but it seems like most of the games only have one for each one.

I've used this site for about two years now.

    http://myp2p.eu/index.php?part=sports

Most games will have at least six or seven different sources to watch the game from several different channels. I mostly use it to watch soccer matches that aren't on TV anywhere in the US, but they have a ton of support for football, baseball and hockey (and others, but those are the only ones I've watched on there)

Being in Singapore this semester has made me pretty good at finding streams online. In addition to what's been listed, I also go to:
    http://channelsurfing.net/
    http://www.stream2watch.com/
    http://www.justin.tv/

And a lot of times ESPN will be airing NCAAF games for free online. You just have to check the ESPN scoreboard.

For those of you wanting to watch the NFL, you have to put in a decent amount of work at times. The NFL is pretty diligent about sending out C&D's and gets them shut down rather quickly. You might have to try several different streams over the course of one game. Also, as annoying as they are, the forums on the side of each page can sometimes be helpful. Fark.com also has a weekly football thread and sometimes people there are nice enough to post stream links or to reply to a request for one.

The quality is surprisingly good, as long as you've got some decent internet and the source link they provide is solid (which is usually only one or two). I had two games going, side-by-side on the laptop, which was hooked up to the TV and had no trouble with the live-streams. Almost rather use this than the satellite!

Anyways, thanks for the additional sites, guys.

I have used most of the sites mentioned in this thread extensively, and from what I can conclude, atdhe and channelsurfing and the like use mostly all the same streams. Their streams either come from jtv, streamcast, or freedocast, and sometimes ustream. If these streams have a password on them, they tend to last for whatever event you are watching. However, especially for sports events like the NFL or PPV, those streams tend to get shutdown the quickest. myp2p streams operate differently, and you usually need a host program like streamtorrent or tvu, tvants, etc. to load up the streams, but since they are going p2p they dont get shutdown. Especially on NFL Sunday I don't even bother with atdhe, because they go the quickest.

It's semantics, but it'll keep you from getting in any legal trouble:

It's illegal for you to host videos, and it's illegal to download videos, but it's LEGAL to watch stream videos. I was put in a little bit of a bind 2 years ago when I illegally downloaded Flags of Our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima-- no more. Streaming-only for me.

Just a little heads up for those who were wondering.

    Bumping this for additional info.

If any of you have a Twitter, @Greg_Punzo usually has quality links he broadcasts himself. A lot of times in HD.

Sounds like next NFL season, after his donations this last year, he'll have all Sunday ticket games broadcasting online in HD.

Just an FYI, Justin.TV got spanked sometime last year and doesn't let you watch anything anymore.

You can still find stuff if you search well or know where to look, but you're right; it's not like it once was. As such, I generally use atdhe.net these days, although the amount of adverts on some of the streams are annoying.

That MyP2P.eu link looks interesting, but what makes me suspicious is that they have you install software. I hate that shit, because of how easy it is to get viruses or even bog down one's connection. Anyone have complaints or observations from using their client?

I've been using myp2p for a few years and haven't had any issues with viruses or anything. A fair number of the links they have on there (at least for the NFL. Not so much for european soccer) can be streamed without downloading anything, but all the software I've downloaded to watch anything has been legit. A couple of the programs are entirely in Chinese or Japanese so I've stayed away from them but sopcast/streamtorrent are fine.

ATDHE.net has been seized by homeland security. I found this out by logging on to twitter and it being a trending topic. Not saying our government can't track shit down, but I'd bet money they find a lot of shit out because idiots talk about it on twitter.

Edit: http://atdhe.net was just taken down to China town by the government, like Parker stated.

    But...

Here's their new site, reborn, with full links soon: http://atdhe.me

    Silly government.

Awesome. I want to give the admins of that site a handshake and buy them a drink. No way are they based in the US, and god knows who their ISP is, so it's going to be a wild goose chase trying to shut all the re-spawns of their site down.

Anyone find a new one of these sites or is everything cracked the fuck down?

Some leagues/teams, particularly in the NFL, are very good about sending out C&D's and get streams shut down rather quickly. I would recommend going on Twitter or message boards of your favorite teams to find someone who has a password protected channel on justin.tv or some other site. Those usually last a lot longer.
