We finished watching this last week.( Our sons wanted to watch it all but we made them stretch it out. ) I'm wondering what other people think about it. We liked it, I think it was slightly better than Season 2, at least if memory serves me correctly. There's no doubt a 4th season's coming, the way they ended it, but I don't know how much longer they can keep it going. Spoiler: Just in case Was it just me, or was Cara Buono absolutely bonerific this season?
I thought it was solid and also liked it better than Season 2. Also, Spoiler Hopper is alive. He dove through the "3 inches" in the gate before it closed, and is currently trapped in the Upside Down. Brenner is "the American" mentioned in the credits scene. Hopper will be rescued from the Upside Down by the Russians under Brenner's direction. Also, it doesn't work anymore, but the phone number Hopper has for Murray Bauman was a real number. The mailbox is full now, but you could call it and hear a message from "Murray."
Dude. WTF. Also, you should know that Season 2 has a fanTAStic soundtrack, but Season 3 is better overall. (And, more gory.)
It was good, like everyone says, better than season 2. I just hope they know when to call it quits before they ruin it. You can only milk a setting for so long before the story goes haywire, trying to outdo itself with every season. I'd rather have three good seasons and that's it than three good ones one mediocre one and then garbage till it's canned.
If I remember right, the Duffer brothers have it mapped out for 5 seasons. They haven’t let us down yet (barring that one standalone episode in season 2), so hopefully it stays high quality.
