yeah I had to Google it this morning. Re: civil war, it’s still on. You have to understand some of the LDS/evangelical worldview. This kid will be explained as a misguided youth, who was led astray by the evils of social media. I haven’t heard 100% he was Mormon but in the St. George area, it’s highly likely. I did hear rumors his dad was a bishop (non clergy, called to serve) and that after the kid confessed to him, he called his stake president to ask what to do. Although being a sheriff, I’d hope he actually reported immediately. “The adversary” is constantly trying to get you to let your guard down, and if you do, the demons will come in and lead you astray. I would not be surprised to hear some right wing talking heads imply that he was possessed. EDIT: aka he was a good kid but those trans leftists got into his brain!
Utah Gov. Cox: “let’s take things down a notch, eh?” Kash Patel: “we have the watch, I’ll see you in Valhalla!!”
I'm glad he knows that neither one are getting in heaven. I just hope he knows that Disney isn't going to let them into the MCU for the next Thor film.
There's something deeply weird about a non-nordic Hindu eulogizing a non-nordic Christian with shoutouts to Odinism. These are groups that do not ever intersect with Odinism in a non-suspicious way.
I don’t understand any of it. I mean, I understand the suspicious connections and supremacist groups, but it’s bled out into just the general gun enthusiast population too. I had coworkers who were into that shit just because they’d go to the range once a month.
The journalistic rigor of Fox News is once again on display: https://x.com/billybadazz7777/status/1965421841247535505/photo/1
So the kid's dad turned him in? I'm gonna tell y'all right now, if L'il Bandit killed someone, I wouldn't turn him in.
I won’t judge ya for that. I was thinking about what I’d do if, Odin forbid, I was in that guys shoes. I don’t think I could do it.
Reddit comment I read that made me chuckle: “the most Mormon coded part of this is that his dad turned him in, but only after consulting with his bishop.”
If my kid killed some random person for the heck of it I’m definitely turning them in. But you can be damn sure I’d cover for them if it was someone I thought needed killing.
