    The other day there was a Jeopardy contestant from DC. During the “learn about the contestants” segment he started his story with “so I’m in a club back in DC…”

    All I could think about was whether he went into the basement, or just stayed upstairs with the refreshments.

    (it was just a lame cooking club)

    I would bet $20 that this falls apart, because of the stipulations from either camp.

    Specifically, the mic cutting off and no audience as requirements from Biden's camp would set Trump up to fail, especially as his rambles would be cut off at a given time. I'm still shocked Biden's camp didn't require this for the 2020 debates.

    I'd be genuinely curious who they get to moderate, but the only way I'm tuning in is if the moderator is one of the winners of RuPaul's drag race.

    Trump would probably balk at the debate being aired on CNN or MSNBC, and no way Biden agrees to do it on Fox or whatever online platform Trump is shilling.

    The last time, Trump's poll numbers dropped precipitously after the debate, and I can't imagine his recent uhh....verbal tics are going to televise well to a broader audience with no one cheering in the studio.
    I'd say Trump has more to lose than Biden here, and the timing of it all gives Biden plenty of time to recover.
