Here is a photo I took when I first visited Colorado Springs back in June. Its at the Garden of the Gods. I took it from the balcony of the visitor's center.

This could only happen in Africa. There is too much funny in this picture for me to not post it.

Sorry about the glare - it was taken from inside my dad's car. I'm too lazy to Photoshop it.

Taken during an artillery exercise in Boden, Sweden. Those are pine trees in the background, which may be hard to see. The exercise was my final 'test' before becoming a qualified forward observer, which makes it even cooler to me.

If anyone's curious, those are two High Explosive proximity rounds fired from a 77b Howitzer.

A night photo of the infamous Grasshopper "coffee" shop in Amsterdam. Great patio and an awesome building, but shitty weed by comparison to other shops.

My dogs decided the muffins and cookies from paradise bakery were for them, the main offender had a muzzle on and could not get them into her mouth so she decided smashing them was better.

Maybe I should post this in the "help me with this" thread . . .

I live out in the sticks. It's usually very quiet at night, save for the occasional distant train whistle. Night before and last night, a barking dog could be heard for most of the night (and day). I thought it was across the river and didn't think much about it. This morning, I went to investigate, though, because I began to think that something wasn't right. (Is Timmy trapped in the well, boy?) Anyway, I live on the river, and normally there's a beachy area between my property and this island formation. We've had so much rain lately, the water is high and swift all the way around the island. The barking is coming from there. This is either a black coyote or a dog. He runs from me when I get close. I've tried to throw some food across to him, but I can't quite get it there. Sheriff, Animal Control, Newspaper, Wildlife -- all contacted and nobody has any solutions. Neighbor and I are going to try and take some food across in a boat this afternoon. (Water will not recede for a couple more days.)

It's not every day you get to put a World Championship ring on your finger (especially if you're a Twins fan...)

It only took me 37 years to get a largemouth over 5 pounds and when I did I got one that was 7 pounds. This fish was caught and released alive yesterday at San Carlos Lake in Arizona

I made these as Christmas gifts. Cheap and easy, yet everyone thinks I'm the next Martha Stewart.

The first is a wine cork cork-board. The second, as you can tell, is a wine cork wreath - but all the decorations are removable, so that you can dress it for fall, spring or summer if you please.

No, I didn't drink all that wine on my own. Come on people - I like to drink, but that would be a death wish.

This is my wine cork Christmas tree. It's a terrible picture, but it will be cute when all the little decorations are on it. Promise.

Went out with The Girl on Sunday night, and had my faith in Santa Claus re-affirmed.

Yes, he is a lecherous old man, and totally checked out her rack.

It brought a tear to my eye.

A friend posted this on facebook. Looks like a pickup under there somewhere. I really do love blizzards for some reason.

The view from the window I think.

As I've mentioned in some earlier posts, I'm currently visiting my father who works in Singapore. I took some pictures today from his balcony/windows, and he has an incredible view of the Pasir Panjang Port, the busiest port in the world (looking south). I have decreased the size of the pictures, but didn't want to make them any smaller, it already takes away much of the effect of them. I'm no pro but I think (out of the 50 or so I took), some came out really good. These are four of my favourites.

Late afternoon a rainstorm was coming in from the west.

In the recent past i've gotten totally fucked over by photographers, so I sucked it up and got myself a camera that can take pictures almost as nice as theirs. Couldn't afford a DSLR, but my cam is the step right under.

have been fiddling around for a couple of days, taking pictures of random ass things like straws and my kids and snapped this photo, which I am proud of

Here are a couple of pictures I took diving in the Philippines over the last week. I've got more if anyone is interested.
