    The first time I got drunk, I had just turned 16 and was drinking Wild Turkey. Even now, that picture makes me gag. I'm drinking Guinness right now; much better than Smirnoff and Diet Mountain Dew (please forgive me, Vonnegut fans).

    Absinthe is goddamn excellent. A friend of mine in Cairo bought some of the stuff when he was in Paris and smuggled it into Egypt. We ended up doing the whole slotted spoon, flaming sugar cube routine, floating in a felucca on the Nile River, being goddamn classy with our plastic cups. Tasted like black licorice that got you fucked up. I hope I get to drink it again sometime.
