The GOP majority is razor thin at this point, and if the far right antics persist, the threat of retirement from less than 3 reps can put all three chambers in Dem control. If I understand correctly, the majority right now is 5 GOP reps with 6 vacancies. That margin of error is...precarious. If she can't be brought to heel, there's a nonzero chance the GOP loses the majority, and wastes the entire term. Also, Dan Crenshaw of all fucking people pointed out that there's no signature win for them to campaign on. It's all fucking nonsense outrage and pointless fights about the speaker, budget battles they lost, etc. She may be safe, that corner of Georgia is beyond saving, but the larger party being at risk because of that sloth-toed fuckwit is hilarious.
